I ordered this on nov 30th and was told it would be delivered 2 weeks before Christmas. It was just delivered this week…. January 17th! Not sure whose fault that was. The item is as described but b my husband said that it is NOT ACCURATE! The USS ROBERT E PEARY Knox Class FF-1063 had a 20 mm Phalanx Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) in the stern which is cylindrical ( like R2D2) not rectangular. I ordered the 8" sign for my nephew to restore a missing part on a golf tournament plaque his late dad had won. The sign was personalized with the last name & arrived quicker than expected. It was easily attached to the wooden plaque. When I showed it to my nephew he said WOW! He plans to hang it in his office.
